About
The job hunt is broken. We rebuilt it.
Applying to jobs became a numbers game because sorting them properly was too slow for one person to do. That's the part we fixed.

Built by ServiceAI
Small team. Real replies to email.
We build software that does specific work well rather than a little of everything. Sloan is the first: one product, one price, one job — finding you the roles worth applying to, and getting the application ready.
Why Sloan exists
Nobody needed another job board.
There are plenty. What was missing was someone to read them.
- The problem
Applying became a numbers game
Not because volume works, but because sorting postings properly takes longer than anyone has. So people fire off fifty generic applications and hear nothing, which is rational and miserable.
- The observation
The slow part is reading, not applying
Deciding whether a role is worth an hour means reading the body text of every posting across a dozen boards. That is the task that doesn't scale for a person — and does for software.
- What we built
One search, read properly, ranked
Fourteen sources swept and de-duplicated, every opening scored against your actual history with the reasoning written out, and the application drafted for the ones you choose.
- What we didn't
No auto-apply, no data business
Both were obvious ways to grow faster. Both would make Sloan worse for the person paying for it.
What we hold to
Four commitments, and what each one costs us.
The member is the client
Nobody pays us to surface their listing. No employer buys placement, no board sponsors a slot. The subscription is the whole business model, which is the only reason the ranking can be honest.
A job hunt is private
Looking for work while employed is a delicate thing. You are not entered into a recruiter database, nothing is shared with employers, and nobody is contacted on your behalf — ever.
You send it, not us
Sloan writes the application and hands it to you. Auto-applying is how the inbox got flooded in the first place, and it is the one feature we will not build.
Say true things
No invented testimonials, no metrics we can't stand behind, and no job listings on our own careers page that aren't real. It costs us a little polish and it is worth it.
