Search & editorial

Community

Hacker News “Who is hiring?”The monthly thread, read properly — top-level posts only, so replies don't arrive as fake listings.

After the sweep

Fourteen lists are worse than one.

Searching everywhere is the easy half. The value is in what arrives.

  • De-duplicated

    One posting, one row

A single role is often syndicated to four boards under slightly different titles. Sloan collapses them, so the list length means something.

  • Read, not matched

The posting body, not the headline

Titles lie. The requirements, the seniority and the location sit in the body text, which is what actually gets scored against your history.

  • Ranked

Ordered by fit, not by date

Newest-first is a filing system, not advice. The strongest matches come first, each with the reasoning behind its score.

What we can't reach

Two names you'll notice are missing.

LinkedIn. Their jobs data is only available to Talent Solutions partners. We are not one, so we don't claim to search it — and anyone telling you they do is scraping it.
Indeed. Their publisher programme has been closed to new partners for years. A good share of Indeed's listings still reach you, because they surface through Google Jobs — but indirectly, and we'd rather say so than imply direct coverage.

A board your field lives on that we don't cover? Send it to us → — niche and regional boards are the ones most worth adding.

One search across all of them.
