Built for your field.
A line cook and a data engineer don't have the same job hunt. Sloan reads the difference.

What changes by field
“Reads the difference” is doing real work.
It isn't a different logo and a different stock photo. Four things actually change.
The same title means different things
A “Manager” in hospitality runs a floor and a rota; in corporate it might run a budget and nobody at all. Sloan scores against what the posting describes, not the word in the headline.
The boards that matter aren't the same
Government roles sit on USAJobs, remote roles cluster on remote-only boards, and a great many openings only ever appear on a company's own careers page. The sweep is weighted to where your field actually posts.
Your evidence looks different
A licence number, a certification, a tech stack, a covers-per-night figure, a semester of coursework — each is the proof that counts in its own field, and each is read as proof rather than skipped as noise.
So the writing changes too
The résumé Sloan rewrites for a clinical role leads on licences and settings. For an engineering role it leads on the stack and the scale. Same history, different emphasis.
Not listed?
Sloan isn't limited to six fields.
These are the six we've written guidance for, because they're where our early members work. The search and the scoring run the same way whatever you do — trades, logistics, education, the public sector, anything that gets posted.
